Miami International Airport (MIA) is your best bet — it's about 20 minutes from The Gale. Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International (FLL) is also an option if you find better flights, roughly 45 minutes out. Both have plenty of rideshare and taxi options straight to the hotel.

We recommend arriving the afternoon or early evening of October 11th. That's when Illuminate officially kicks off — so you do not want to be landing while the room is already buzzing. Get there, get settled, and walk in ready. If you want a little extra time to explore Miami first, arriving on the 10th is never a bad idea.

Yes, in fact we encourage that you do but your family cannot join you in the conference unless you have purchased tickets for all of them.

Miami in October is warm — think highs in the low-to-mid 80s with humidity. Pack smart casual for sessions, something a little elevated for evening events, and your swimsuit because that rooftop pool is not going to use itself. One thing people always forget — bring a light layer for indoor spaces. Miami air conditioning is aggressive and you will feel it during sessions. A packable rain jacket is also smart; October is the tail end of rainy season and an afternoon shower is always possible. Leave the heavy layers at home.

We recommend booking your flight home for October 15th. Illuminate runs through the 14th and the closing session is something you do not want to be watching the clock through. Give yourself the full experience — then fly/drive home.
